How did I get here?
As a kid, I loved looking through my parent’s photo albums, looking through their memories of when they dated, got married, of course, me as a baby. I loved the stories these pictures told of a different time my grandparents and great-grandparents lived through. This connected me to a larger family story.
As a mom I have worked on building this connection with my children through the avenue I treasured as a kid. I have been managing our photo collection, creating photo albums, videos and preserving those treasured family albums from my childhood. I value this and don’t think I am alone.
